Governor Jeb Bush served as the 43rd Governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007, during which he cut $20 billion in taxes, vetoed $2.3 billion in earmarks, and helped create 1.3 million net new jobs — including achieving Florida’s first-ever triple-A bond rating.He is currently Chairman and Founding Partner of Finback Investment Partners, one of three private equity firms he has founded, and has previously served as Senior Advisor at Lehman Brothers and Barclays. He is a Lead Director of IHS Towers and serves on the boards of InnovAge, HealthEdge, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Governor Bush holds a degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
Elisabeth Eljuri
Elisabeth Eljuri is an international energy expert focused on the oil and gas and natural resources industries in the Americas with over 30 years of experience. After practicing law for 25 years, she co-founded two private equity backed oil companies over the past decade. In addition to her executive role, she sits as arbitrator, from time to time, in major energy, natural resources, infrastructure and M&A arbitrations filed under the rules of ICC, ICDR, LCIA, UNCITRAL and ICSID. She is both a NY and a Venezuelan lawyer and graduated from UCAB in Venezuela, attended Harvard Law School, and is taking the YPO Gold Program at Harvard Business School.
Gus Maxwell
Gus Maxwell advises Fortune 500 and U.S. companies on navigating complex international markets with significant sanctions and regulatory considerations. He is the only U.S. lawyer ranked by both Chambers Latin America and Chambers Global in this area. He has facilitated discussions between U.S. and foreign government officials on cross-border market normalization, and co-teaches a seminar on law, policy, and transition at Columbia University School of Law.
Baylor Lancaster-Samuel
Baylor Lancaster-Samuel oversees asset strategy, macro communications, and discretionary portfolio management at Amerant Investments. With 25 years of experience across institutional, family office, and analytical roles, she is a recognized fixed income expert and a frequent contributor to Bloomberg News and television. She holds an MBA from NYU Stern and is a member of the Programming Committee for FIASI and 100 Women in Finance.
