Miami, FL – October 2, 2023 — The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana proudly announces the appointment of Pablo Lau as its newly elected President. With a remarkable 16-year history of dedicated membership within the club, Lau brings a wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to service and leadership in this prestigious role.

Lau currently holds the position of Vice President, Retail Credit Assistant Manager at Amerant Bank. His extensive background and dedication to community service position him perfectly to guide the club toward even greater achievements.

Since its inception in 1975, Kiwanis of Little Havana, an affiliate of Kiwanis International, has stood as a cornerstone of the South Florida community. It proudly maintains its status as the oldest continuously meeting Latin club in the United States. The club’s relentless dedication is focused on making a substantial impact on the lives of countless families through a multitude of annual service projects and fundraising initiatives.

In his capacity as the newly appointed President, Lau expresses his enthusiasm for the journey ahead, stating, “Serving as President of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, an organization that has such a long and rich history in our community, is a great honor and privilege. The endless hours of volunteer work and collaboration put forth by the Kiwanis members and staff to better the lives of the children in our community is truly remarkable.
