The Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank have teamed up to help support veterans with the “Saves for Vets” campaign. As the Official Bank of the Panthers, Amerant Bank will donate $40 for each save made by a Panthers goaltender throughout the regular season. The funds generated by these saves will directly support veteran-focused nonprofit organizations within the South Florida area.

Saturday, May 14, more than 75 Amerant team members were among the 500 walkers and runners who participated in the Amerant Bank 5K to benefit United Way Miami. Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago joined Jerry Plush to welcome the crowd and ring the starting bell.
Over 40 Amerant team members and their families celebrated Earth Day on April 23 by participating in our shoreline and coastal cleanup to beautify and preserve the natural habitat on Virginia Key. They donned gloves, hats and sunscreen and joined volunteers from the University of Miami, picking up debris and invasive plants to take care of our environment.
On April 28, our Amerant team members in Houston participated in our inaugural Team Build supporting Houston Habitat for Humanity. It was a fun-filled day, with some hard work too, working side-by-side to build affordable housing for families in need.

At Amerant, we value creativity in young minds and understand the significance art can have on a community. In October of 2019, the Edgewater Banking Center unveiled the art created by the talented students at nearby Key Point Christian Academy.
In 2019, Amerant launched Amerant Art, an art initiative that incorporates a series of rotating exhibitions throughout its spaces. With such a unique branch that perfectly lends itself to showcasing art, we were proud to dedicate our first Amerant Art exhibition to the artistic talent that these local students have to offer.
As part of our sponsorship for the art therapy program at Camillus House, Amerant hosted a public art exhibit featuring the work of Camillus House clients. The exhibition, that featured over fifty pieces from the art therapy program, were available for purchase and benefited Camillus House.
The art was on display throughout the holidays, and provided a platform for Camillus House clients to showcase their work and talent to the public.
Building on a 40-year legacy of supporting the arts, Amerant showcases a series of art exhibitions in its corporate spaces featuring artists whose talent inspires, entertains and amazes. The exhibition changes three times each year to remain fresh and inviting. Our current installation celebrates the theme, “(Un) Balances”. During these unprecedented times, when we are all practicing social distancing and caring for each other, Amerant decided to adopt a new approach to supporting the arts and has embraced digital technologies in order to share this art with you.
In late April, Amerant employees in South Florida and Houston, along with friends and family members, walked together to support of the March of Dimes. The Amerant team showed great participation and support for this wonderful cause.
The annual March for Babies walk, gives hope to more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money that Amerant Bank employees help raise throughout the months of March and April, help support programs in the community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies.
Amerant was proud to lend a helping hand to the League Against Cancer (La Liga Contra el Cancer) at their Annual Telethon on Saturday, June 1. Employee volunteers answered phone calls from 5 to 8 pm to help collect donations for this great organization.
Cancer does not discriminate against age, race, nationality, religion or creed. For years, La Liga has provided the invaluable hope of healing and survival to the less fortunate in our community.
Every year, Middle School students in Miami-Dade County are encouraged to visit Zoo Miami, take a photo of their favorite animal, and submit it for a chance to win big!
