In this key role, Shafer will support Amerant\u2019s growth by identifying, evaluating, and pursuing business opportunities that align with Amerant\u2019s strategic objectives across all lines of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shafer is a graduate of Wayne State Mike Ilitch School of Business. He brings a wealth of experience in commercial and business banking to Amerant. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Market Director at Huntington National Bank. Prior to that, he held middle market leadership roles for TCF Bank and its predecessor companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
