He will also be responsible for promoting business development within these areas and creating new products, in addition to driving strong customer engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHoward\u2019s proven leadership abilities and experience enable him to spearhead Amerant\u2019s new consumer banking division,\u201d said Jerry Plush, Chairman and CEO of Amerant Bank. \u201cAs we look to elevate our consumer banking services and offerings, we are confident in his ability to generate positive results.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In early 2021, Howard joined Amerant Mortgage as Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. A joint venture between Amerant Bank and a team of highly specialized residential real estate executives with a long track record of success in the residential mortgage arena, Amerant Mortgage offers the full complement of residential lending solutions to include conventional, government, Jumbo loans and unique product offerings.
